TRADITIONAL DESIGN - ENGRAVED

Each unique copper piece is hand made by experienced artisans in Turkey. They are engraved by tapping a chisel. Our copper smiths use the heaviest 1.5 mm copper (thickest coffee pots we have ever found) for their work. They have beautiful wooden handles with shell inline. They are tin lined inside for durability and ease of cleaning. You can be assured these will last for many generations!

WHY COPPER?

Copper, more than any other metal, is known for its ability to diffuse heat evenly and conduct it quickly throughout its surface. Hence, it is used all over the world as high-efficiency conductors of heat and are especially coveted for their ability to quickly bring water to a boil. They are easy to care for, needing only an occasional cleaning with a soft, damp cloth. Also, they tend to look better and gain more character as they age...just like people!

We are proud to offer you our own brand of gourmet Turkish coffee! Unlike the way roasters typically do their coffee tasting (cupping) where they just pour hot water over a cup of coffee grounds; instead we brew each variety before we select our bean. This is because Turkish coffee is the only method of brewing where coffee beans are roasted again, thus changing the taste. So just cupping will not do. Once you taste our coffee you'll understand our methodology.
