This is a traditionally designed hand made fine porcelain cup and saucer by Kutahya Porcelain, the leading porcelain tableware manufacturer in Turkey.

The design and motifs of this cup has been inspired by the original ones at the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. Pure gold is used in order to accurately match the authentic techniques used by the artists of the Ottoman Empire. It requires porcelain to be maintained below 800 degrees Celsius by using special techniques before applying the motifs with gold.
